A Kind Of Magic is Queen's twelfth studio album release and Queen's first album to have been released since their iconic performance at Live Aid.
The album was recorded between 1985-86 at The Musicland Studios in Munich, Townhouse and Abbey Road Studios in London and their own Mountain Studio in Montreux.
The album's title, A Kind Of Magic, is derived from one of the lines which featured in the film Highlander that the character Conner MacLeod says to describe his immortality. With six out of the nine tracks on A Kind Of Magic featuring in Highlander, the album is therefore seen as the unofficial soundtrack to the movie, given that there is not actually an official soundtrack album released.
For the purpose of our Queen quiz, the questions are based on the original UK release.
